Pin Holes First

Pin chamber holes are drilled before the keyway slot is cut. This sequence preserves material integrity around the pin bores, resulting in more precise and consistent pin chamber geometry.

Keyway Slot After

The keyway profile is broached after pin hole drilling. This eliminates the deformation risk that occurs when drilling into an already-slotted plug, ensuring tighter keyway-to-pin alignment.
