Raw Material Inspection

Every batch of incoming raw material undergoes rigorous verification before entering the production floor. We maintain binding agreements with all material suppliers requiring full RoHS compliance reports, ensuring toxic substances like lead and chromium are controlled to the lowest possible levels within EU-approved standards.

  • Spectral Analysis Testing -- A sample from every batch is tested via spectrometry to quickly verify material composition is correct.
  • Third-Party Verification -- If spectral data shows anomalies, materials are sent to an accredited third-party lab for precision testing before any decision is made.
  • Visual & Dimensional Sampling -- Appearance, straightness, and dimensional accuracy are spot-checked before warehouse entry.

Keyway Quality Control

Keyway profile consistency across every order is critical for security and interoperability. EOSYS employs a systematic approach to guarantee that every key, plug, and shell matches the approved specification exactly.

  • Signed Sample Retention -- Confirmed samples are signed by the client and archived at the factory as the reference standard.
  • Dedicated Inspection Gauges -- Custom gauges are manufactured for each product's keyway, plug, and shell to ensure every production run matches the drawing.
  • First Article + Optical Projector -- Before mass production, the first article is verified via optical projector and custom gauges.
  • 2-Hour Patrol Inspection -- Critical dimensions are checked every 2 hours. If a patrol fails, the entire 2-hour batch is scrapped and production restarts.

Tooling Control Management

Tooling precision directly impacts cylinder quality. Unlike many manufacturers that replace tools only when they fail, EOSYS enforces a proactive, scheduled replacement system to maintain consistent machining accuracy.

  • Incoming Tool Verification -- Every tool is inspected via optical projector upon arrival. Only tools meeting standards are released for production use.
  • Mandatory Replacement Every 5,000 Units -- All cutting tools are replaced after every 5,000 cylinders, regardless of visible wear condition.
  • Full Traceability Records -- After each process, tools are stored with detailed usage logs documenting cylinder count, enabling precise tracking and timely replacement.

Sample Consistency & Interoperability

Ensuring that every production batch matches the approved sample -- with identical bitting, pin configurations, and mutual opening performance -- is fundamental to our quality commitment.

  • Engineering Drawing Confirmation -- Detailed drawings for every component are prepared by our engineers and sent to the client for approval before production begins.
  • Multiple Reference Samples -- Extra samples are produced during initial development and retained by both engineering and sales departments for cross-reference.
  • Supplier Component Inspection (8% Sampling) -- Outsourced pins, drivers, and accessories undergo 8% sampling at the supplier with inspection reports required before shipment, followed by a second 8% sampling upon arrival at EOSYS.
  • First Article Assembly Trial -- QC performs a first-article trial assembly. If requested, the sample is sent to the client for approval before mass assembly begins.

  • Supplier Traceability -- For special colors, the electroplating supplier used for the approved sample is documented. The same supplier is prioritized for mass production to minimize color deviation.
  • Signed Color Reference Boards -- For existing clients, color boards are retained and signed as the acceptance standard for all future orders.
  • Luxury-Grade Plating Standards -- Surface treatment follows the same electroplating standards used for luxury metal goods, delivering a premium aesthetic and corrosion resistance.
